The audience received fireworks of Afro-Cuban jazz on Thursday night. Five masterful instrumentalists led by Cuban saxophonist, composer and kapellmeister Alexey León at the forefront constantly brilliant with an unmanageable energy and vitality, while the razor -sharp solos flew elegantly beyond the ramp. It was jazz when it thrived with bubbles and bursts. And of course the quintet got an enthusiastic hall to acknowledge with standing ovation. Thanks to Alexey León, Carl Winther, Carlos Sarduy, Yasser Pino and Niclas Campagnol.
